on the face of it...

its been a couple of days since speaking to Jamie and ive been looking back at wallace and gromit and my design and seeing if theres a chance to involve some more of there asthetic style into my design. Heres my attempts....

mmm....when i add another curve i always get this weird crunching going on behind...but the hull option never seems to work as well either.

employing it into my model....my conclusion....this is a much more flat look than what i have designed and it therefore wont work as its just not what i designed at the end of the day. This feels like a waste of my time and i should grow a darn back bone and trust my own design instead of being easily swayed *hits head on table*
Nevermind....at any rate its provided me with some more research ready for blend shapes to achieve the simple shapes aardman include in their animation

I would still like to achieve the wonderful brow line aardman do...its extremely expressive along with the eye lids.

It can go from one extreme to the next even though the design is so simple.

Circular shapes provide the range of facial expressions...i love how you can tell the characters thoughts, demeanor just from looking at these stills.

Simple teeth...perhaps tongue...not much depth into the inner mouth geometry.
